Again.. Y’all KNOW I love local places that have paleo/gluten free options and I found one that’s literally 8 minutes down the road. A new hip spot called EAT! It’s in the lively shopping centers across from Flatirons Mall seated on the edge of Broomfield.
When you first walk in, you’re greeted by an industrial rustic vibe and friendly staff! The menu is full of classic brunch foods with unique twists, but don’t be fooled because they also provide health conscience items to meet your dietary needs!
They had amazing sweet potato fries and were able to provide us with gluten-free options for our burgers! *They had three different GF bread options, how awesome is that?!
Their drink menu also included some very unique recipes that were delicious additions to our brunch! (They grew the mint in house and used it for their drink infusions.. I love that!)
As amazing as the food and people were at the restaurant (Talking about you David and Alex!) the thing that really stood out to me was their amazing kid’s menu. It doubled as an activity booklet that used a PENNY as the writing utensil.. How eco-friendly is that! No waste, no chemicals.. Just a penny. I love it and I am hooked on that idea!
We’ll absolutely be back again – The hospitality and atmosphere makes you feel as though you’re in a hip downtown eatery but it’s in our own backyard and it’s super kid friendly! Thanks EAT!
(I was compensated for this post, all opinions are my own.)
I had the pleasure of getting to try the Winc wine club and it was incredible. I was able to choose which wines I wanted and was even able to throw in a delicious cider! You choose 4 bottles of wine (or cider) and have it sent directly to your door. No waiting in line at the liquor store or being overwhelmed by aisles upon aisles of different options. You can make your choice based on tastes you prefer and mix them up every month!
Winc is not your traditional wine club: we are a direct-distribution global wine company that personalizes the entire wine experience – We are perfecting how wine is made, distributed, perceived and purchased via our Palate Profile quiz that recommends wine based on your unique tastes and I’ll add enjoyed on behalf of a new generation of wine drinkers.
It takes the hassle and guesswork out of picking a bottle from your local liquor store and delivers the perfect bottle directly to your doorstep. We do all this as part of our quest to improve the experience for consumers, create a platform for artisanal winemaking, and build a grape-to-glass supply chain that’s sustainable for the planet. No more intimidating language and steep price points, and more joy in the act of sharing a bottle.
Today, we decided to have some family also from Louisiana to come over and root for the LSU Tigers with us! So we wanted to have some good drinks to serve everyone that’s also paleo still! SO I just randomly came up with an idea for a drink and it came out amazing! Try it for yourselves and let me know what you thought or what you did differently ❥
We’re going to be thoroughly enjoying these drinks AND some amazing food I’ve got in the works that I’ll also post tonight! Football is back, y’all!
I have recently ventured out of my comfort zone and joined a local bloggers club. At first I was a little hesitant about going to an event (I can be a little shy :p) but it was SO much fun – This is an amazing group of bloggers and a lot of them were also gluten free bloggers! I think it helps that it was a mixology meet-up 😉 And Sproutswas gracious enough to cater our event for all of the bloggers and it was a delicious spread!
We were learning from Barb over at Creative Culinary about how to make some delicious margaritas! I thought at first, “I know how to make margaritas!” But man, was I wrong. I’ll never go back to the basic mixing of Tequila and margarita mix! She taught us how you can and SHOULD be making this delicious drink to give it different flavors and dimensions.
We started by muddling a few different ingredients which were strawberries, blueberries and limes until it was nice and mushy (It really helps bring out the flavors) then added the pitcher mixture (lemonade, limeade and tequila) into our muddled shaker goo then we shook, shook, shook it up!
After rimming my glass in Barb’s amazing salt/sugar mixture with lemon, lime, and orange zest creations I poured my DELICIOUS margarita into a fancy glass and NOW I’m addicted. I’ll literally NEVER go back to normal margaritas – How could you?!
So now, I’m a margarita PRO and made some amazing new blogger friends in the process (It smells when the margarita melts all your shyness away ;)). Try this recipe out for yourself, you’ll LOVE it! And it’s SO simple! Also.. Fruits are good for you, so that too 😉
