Coobie Seamless Bra and Giveaway

Y’all.. Ever since I’ve gotten my Coobie Seamless bra in the mail I’ve worn it every. single. day. It’s claim of “Most Comfortable Bra Ever” is 100% TRUE. It’s literally the most comfortable bra I’ve EVER worn! It has great support, soft fabric, is washable (with easy to remove pads), is really classy (I got the lace one!) and doesn’t look like a bra so can be used to look like an undershirt when layering!

AND I love them so much I am hosting a giveaway for TWO lucky winners to receive their very own!!571Want a chance to win? Comment below with which bra you’d choose and you’re entered! Coobie Seamless Bras

This is not my usual type of post (Even though I do want to start doing a little more fashion ūüėČ )¬†But I am SO excited to get my Coobie Bra because I’ve heard SO many great things about them! After becoming a Mom you realize how much your body changes and you need new types of bras. This has been such a problem for me lately. Been looking for a supportive¬†yet comfortable bra for ages so was very intrigued when I heard Coobie deemed themselves with having¬†The Most Comfortable Bra Ever.

Their reviews are outstanding and they’ve even got nursing bras for those expecting/breastfeeding! (I’m all about the #NormalizeBreastfeeding movement so¬†love when companies have¬†actual Mom-friendly bras!)

They’re perfect for everyday wear with their versatile one-size fits 32A – 36D, available in 7+ styles and 70+ colors/patterns, with adjustable straps and removable pads!! As most of us Moms do I’ve already got one for myself for Christmas from my Husband hahaha I cannot WAIT (May have to wear it til Christmas then box it up for myself last minute. Just too excited)

Mantra Monday

**New blog segment! Mantra Mondays..

b0dfd143c9b62f64dcc000d253f4ccf3

I’m back at it. Fall time (Honestly, anytime.) makes it hard to want to stay motivated with health but once you don’t feel like yourself anymore, health or appearance wise, then you make the changes you need and want.

Back to full on paleo because I’ve been sick for a¬†full week. Why? My immune system is weak – I haven’t been eating well and have been drinking a lot of whiskey and warm ciders (So good though..).

But now I know what I need to do. I need to think about my health more – Mainly so I can have my energy and strength back for my son and be the Mother I need to be. For Hudson and for myself.¬†So, this week’s Mantra is – Believe in Yourself!

Feeling Thankful

It’s Fall time – Which is the time where people feel like giving Thanks and feeling grateful (I still feel like this should be an EVERYDAY kinda thing but still I’ll go with it for this post). I have one thing that I feel so very very thankful for right now. And that’s Bodhi Body.

I’ve been really, really sick lately with¬†still no explanation. But, I’ve literally nearly been tested for everything they can possibly think of so at this point I am assuming that I have the incurable Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My symptoms lately have presented some extreme pain throughout my body (Mainly in my neck/head/back regions).

I was really excited when my appointment finally came up for my massage because I’ve been in¬†so¬†much pain and knew my therapist Tonya could help me out! She started working on me and I could hear the concerns in her breath when she was working on my back and spine. It hurt so good, haha! She focused mainly on my worst concerns and at the end of it I had absolutely NO pain and STILL have no pain!!

She said she found TWO pinch nerves, one on EACH side and there was a huge knot on the top of my spine where my skull met my spine that usually stemmed from jaw pain (I HAD been having jaw pain because I stopped wearing my mouth guard *facepalm*) and after she worked on my jaw the pain in my neck seriously MELTED away.

I never thought that massage could seriously have such a serious impact on my day to day life but I couldn’t imagine my life without it now. I am so, so thankful for¬†Bodhi Body and my wonderful therapist Tonya. They’ve helped a Mama out – I came home with a new sense of energy and postitivty. I’m ready to take on the day and cannot wait for my next massage. TRY massage – TRY Bodhi Body, treat yourself AND heal yourself!

5 Facts You Should Know About Women’s Health

A wonderful blog post from my favorite local massage studio!

Bodhi Body Studios

  1. Women are more prone to certain health conditions than men. Women are more likely to experience depression, stroke and rheumatoid arthritis. Some conditions, like osteoporosis, are directly related to women’s hormone fluctuations and smaller frames. Others, like fibromyalgia, are much more common in women, but scientists have yet to figure out why.
  2. Women do not always experience the same symptoms as men with the same conditions. While men are more likely to experience a heart attack than women, women are more likely to die of the same heart attack. The reasons may be related to the publicized symptoms: while everyone knows about chest pressure and pain down the left arm, these are symptoms typically experienced by men. Women may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, or fatigue. Knowing the different ways conditions manifest in men and women can truly be a lifesaver.
  3. Women have different risk factors than men. Remember that bit about…
